In response to the requirements of the most demanding markets and with a personal commitment to modernising the organisation by the whole Magalia Group, in 2002 a system was installed which is making it possible to trace our fruit from the grower in the field to shipment, extending all the way to when it reaches the consumers' table.

Through the use of bar codes, we label all the batches brought in from the fields, collecting all the information of most interest to us, such as: member, source, variety, reference to the field logbook, etc. When a batch is processed, all the selected fruit which is obtained from it is labelled with another bar code. When you read this it tells you its origin, selection and the type of product we are handling.

Once the case is prepared for shipment, it is assigned a destination, which allows us to control the distribution of our goods, from the field to the table.
